1. Introduction

CAMTOVIDEOCALL ("we", "us", "our") operates the website camtovideocall.com. We are committed to protecting the privacy of all users of our Service. This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we collect, how it is used, and the steps we take to safeguard it.

We collect only the minimum personal information necessary to operate the Service:

We do NOT collect phone numbers, physical addresses, date of birth, government ID, or social media profiles.

3. Video and Audio

All video and audio during chat sessions is transmitted directly peer-to-peer between users using WebRTC technology. We do NOT record, store, monitor, or intercept your video or audio calls at any time. In cases where direct peer connection is not possible, a TURN relay server is used — even in this case, media content is not stored or monitored.

4. How Information Is Used

We use the information we collect to provide and improve the Service, process transactions, send OTP verification codes and password reset emails, enforce our Terms and Conditions, and ensure security. We do NOT use your data for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties.

5. Payment Processing

Premium subscription payments on CamToVideoCall are processed exclusively by authorized third-party payment gateways. CAMTOVIDEOCALL does not store, access, or process complete card details at any point. Payment information including card numbers, CVV, and bank details are handled entirely by the payment provider. We receive only a transaction confirmation to activate your premium features.

6. Third-Party Services

CamToVideoCall uses the following third-party services to operate: Brevo (SMTP) for transactional emails, Metered TURN Servers for WebRTC relay, MongoDB Atlas for secure cloud database storage, authorized payment gateways for premium payments, and Google Fonts for web fonts. Each third-party service operates under its own privacy policy and data protection standards.

7. Data Sharing

We do NOT sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for commercial or marketing purposes. We may share data only with service providers necessary to operate the Service, when required by applicable law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

8. Security

Reasonable measures are implemented to protect your personal information including: bcrypt password hashing, HTTPS/TLS encryption for all connections, JWT authentication tokens with 7-day expiry and single-device enforcement, rate limiting on all authentication endpoints, and input sanitization to prevent injection attacks.

9. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting support@camtovideocall.com. Upon receiving a verified deletion request, we will permanently remove your data from our active systems within 30 days.

10. Cookies and Storage

CamToVideoCall uses browser localStorage (not cookies) to store your login session token locally on your device. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party analytics scripts on our pages.

11. Children's Privacy

CamToVideoCall is strictly intended for adults 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, we will immediately delete that information and terminate the associated account.

12. Your Rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your account and data, withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your account, and request your data in a portable format where technically feasible. 13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
