Most of us study from a messy mix: a lecture video, a PDF from the teacher, a page of notes. The hard part is not finding material. It is turning it into something you can revise from. AI study assistants such as Turbo AI, and many others, exist to do that job.
CamToVideoCall now has its own. You give it text, a PDF or a video link, and it gives back a plain-language explanation, key points, flashcards and a short quiz. This page explains how it works, what it is good at, and how it compares with other study apps, so you can decide whether it fits you.
What it does
From one source you get four things:
- Explanation: the material rewritten in simple words, in the style you choose (simple, detailed or exam-focused).
- Key points: the short list worth remembering the night before an exam.
- Flashcards: tap to flip, to test yourself on terms and ideas.
- Quiz: multiple-choice questions with a score and a reason for each answer.
Your answers on the quick start page (who you are, your subject, how soon your exam is) are used to adjust the depth and tone. If your exam is within a week, the key points are kept shorter and prioritised.
How to use it
- Open the AI study page. First-time visitors answer a few quick questions, or press Skip.
- Choose Paste text, Upload PDF or Video link.
- Press Create study pack. It takes roughly 10 to 30 seconds.
- Switch between Explanation, Key points, Flashcards and Quiz.
Video links
Paste a link from YouTube, Instagram, X, Facebook, Pinterest or Reddit. If the video has captions, we use them. If not, we listen to the audio and write it out, which is slower and works for videos up to 10 minutes. Some sites block servers like ours, and if that happens you can paste the transcript instead, which always works.
Try it with your own notes. No account needed.
Create a study packHow it compares with other AI study apps
Turbo AI is one of several tools in this space, alongside others that make notes, flashcards and quizzes from lectures. They are different products with their own features and prices, and they change often, so check each one's current page before you decide. Here is what ours offers, stated plainly.

Who it is for
- School and college students turning class notes into revision cards.
- Exam aspirants who need fast summaries of long lectures.
- Teachers making a quick quiz from a reading.
- Anyone learning from videos who prefers reading and testing over watching it all again.
Honest limits
- AI makes mistakes. Check important facts, formulas and dates against your textbook or teacher.
- It is a revision aid, not a replacement for learning. Try the quiz before you read the answers.
- Scanned PDFs (pictures of pages) cannot be read yet.
- Some videos fail. Private videos, blocked sites and very long videos without captions may not work.
- Only study content you have the right to use. Respect copyright and your school's rules about AI.
Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. You get 3 study packs a day with no account. A paid plan is planned for people who need more, and it is not open yet.
Do you keep my notes or files?
Your text and PDFs are used to create your study pack and are not stored as a library. The quick-start answers are saved anonymously, without a name or email.
Can it explain a YouTube video?
Yes, when the video has captions or is short enough for us to transcribe. YouTube sometimes blocks servers, so if it fails, paste the transcript.
Which languages work?
Study packs work best in English. Other languages may work, but quality varies, so check the result.
Can the AI be wrong?
Yes. Treat it as a first draft for revision and verify anything important.
